From Photographer to Filmmaker

A 1-day course on transitioning from taking photographs to producing professional-looking videos.

Photography and filmmaking are two similar yet uniquely different fields. A photographer captures still moments while a filmmaker captures movement. A photographer creates a photo while a filmmaker creates a sequence.

If you're a photographer making the big leap to filmmaking, you'll find yourself at a position of advantage. However, transitioning to capturing the moving frame can be challenging. This is where we come in.

In the past four years, SHOOT! Practical Videography School has mastered the art of teaching filmmaking at very affordable rates. We have conducted more than 100 courses since 2014 and have mentored more than 600 graduates from all over the country.

Do you find the process of recording a video, creating a sequence, and syncing audio intimidating?

How do I stop footage from being shaky? How do I consistently find the best light?

Do I really have to buy all these gears?

This 1-day course is designed for photographers who want to learn filmmaking. It will discuss the similarities and differences between the two crafts and make sure you use your photography skills to your full advantage as you create beautiful films.
